Our office does not open until 7:30 a.m., so there will be no one in the office to answer your calls prior to then. However, you can check for emergency closings the following ways:
Call 847-238-1234 and use our phone number (708-385-6690) as the ID. Check for updates from your favorite radio and TV stations. The TV stations include CBS, ABC, NBC, WGN, CLTV, FOX. The radio stations are WGN 720 or WBBM 780. If your child will be absent, please call Nathan Hale Middle School at 708 385-6690. We ask that you call between 7:30 and 9:00 am to report the absence. Nathan Hale Middle School is located at 5220 West 135th Street, in Crestwood, IL. Nathan Hale Middle School has been servicing students in Crestwood, Robbins, and Alsip since 1976. Nathan Hale Middle School houses sixth, seventh, and eighth grade students and plays an important role in preparing its students for high school and beyond. At Nathan Hale Middle School, the staff works tirelessly to create an environment that promotes learning and individual growth. Using the Positive Behavioral Intervention and Supports (PBIS) philosophy, the students are taught expected behavior and are rewarded consistently for exhibiting positive behavior. In addition to promoting academic excellence, our staff teaches students to be respectful, responsible, and safe. Our staff is dedicated to instructing students in the behaviors and skills needed to be successful in high school and helping them become future productive members of society.
