Parent/Teacher Organization
(P.T.O.)
The Whittier PTO is a volunteer organization made up of parents and teachers working together for the betterment of the students enrolled at our school. The PTO provides and supports many activities that aid in the enrichment of our students and make Whittier School a more positive and rewarding place to grow and learn. Hopefully, along the way, each child will leave not only with a quality education but also with a foundation of happy memories of school. Many parents wonder what the PTO really does. Following is a breakdown of the various activities and fundraisers with which the PTO may plan or assist throughout the year.
